Our company evolved from a once small company into a complete team of imaginative designers and highly skilled old world master craftsmen. Our reputation for honesty, reliability and innovation means that each renovation is one of a kind. To us, there’s no such thing as a cookie-cutter job! After conferring with a national roundtable of elite contractors, we discovered and introduced a 24/7 communications app for project management called Co-construct. From the client to the project manager, interested parties can tap into every stage of a renovation, including product selections and change orders. Here are a few benefits:

This is where the magic happens!
Here at the showroom, we not only put together the plans for your remodel, but inspiration is found with cabinetry, hardware, countertops, flooring, tile and paint. All CAD plans are shared with the client on a large screen monitor, so they can virtually see their project plans. It’s a one-stop shop where you can do more than just use your imagination, you can touch and feel all of the little details that come together to make your house a home.

Our Process
Our team coordinates and manages the entire project starting with a design of the space(s), pricing that is within the clients investment range, finalizing selected items, ordering of all items, receiving and inspection of all items delivered to our warehouse, and coordination of the installations for every aspect of the project.

Initial Project Consultation
We begin with a meeting in our showroom. By meeting face-to-face, we are able to understand your lifestyle, determine your needs, show you our products, and discuss your dreams for the final outcome.

Project Discovery and Design
Your designer will walk you through every detail of the selection process, listen to your input, address any of your questions and fine tune details so the space is exactly what you envision.

Proposal
Once your designs are approved, we will create a detailed proposal that reflects your design and scope of work. Once the proposal is complete, we will call you to review your proposal here at our showroom, or we will post it to your project in our Project Management Website (PMW), (Co-Construct).

Ordering Of materials
Once the proposal is accepted and the deposit is received, we will post your material selections to your project in our PMW, for your approval. Upon approval, we will order the materials. After all of your materials are ordered, we can provide you with an estimated idea of a start date. We will schedule your project to begin once all of the materials are received.

Project Start
Once your project is scheduled to begin, you will receive a detailed message with instructions to help you prepare for your renovation. Our goal is to provide you with a quality remodeling experience, providing a finished product that will meet and even exceed your expectations, all while making the process as seamless as possible. At Acclaim Renovations & Design we strive to ensure that every project runs smoothy and on schedule.

Warranty
We offer a 1-year warranty on all of the materials we purchase and install. If the need should arise, a tradesman will be scheduled within a timely manner, unless immediate attention is required.

How do I know that this contractor is going to complete the job in a professional, workmanlike manner?
Check with BBB, past clients, website – look at client comments and pics of work.

Is it important that a contractor be fully insured, bonded, and pay into Workman’s Compensation?
Absolutely demand to see updated copies of all documents! There are too many stories of homeowners having to pay damages if an alleged contractor does not carry all of the proper insurances.

Does it matter if the contractor uses in-house/employed tradesmen or sub-contractors?
When a contractor utilizes in-house tradesmen there is accountability and control of quality and timeliness PLUS all employed tradesmen are covered under all insurances. When sub-contractors are hired many aspects are affected such as timeliness. The contractor can fully control its employees, not so with “subs”. However, there are times that subs must be used for tasks such as excavating, running drain & water lines to a new addition, possibly rough framing of a large addition, etc. Acclaim has spent years creating relationships with preferred sub-contractors - they show up on time, have high standards, and get paid on time which is one of the most important reasons subs work so well with Acclaim.

Will Acclaim finish the job without leaving for weeks at a time? (this is a common problem in the industry)
As mentioned above, Acclaim completes projects in a timely manner which means that we finish what we start! This problem occurs often in this industry because of poor planning. Your project will not begin until the major materials (lumber package, cabinets, windows, doors, flooring, etc.) have been ordered and are either in Acclaim’s warehouse or a local vendor’s warehouse.

Do we need to be home during the construction? If not, how do we communicate?
The simple answer is no, most homeowners are working and cannot stay home for 4-12 weeks or whatever the duration of the project may be. This is why Acclaim utilizes a project management portal called Co-Construct. This program tracks and documents including, but not limited to, Specs & Selections, Financial, Questions & Messages, Job Progress Pictures, Change Orders, and much more. Communication is key to a successful project which is why Co-Construct was brought onboard 9 years ago – no more lost emails, no more “he said, she said”, no more unexpected costs at the end of the project. All additional work, and cost, is agreed to by all parties prior to any work being started that is not itemized in the original proposal.
